What is IAAP?
The International Association of Administrative
Professionals (IAAP) is the world’s largest association for
administrative support staff, with over 600 chapters and 40,000
members and affiliates worldwide. For over 60 years, we have
provided up-to-date research on office trends, cutting-edge
publications, outstanding seminars and conferences, and
top-notch resources to help administrative professionals enhance
their skills and become more effective contributors to their
employers.

|
Why do administrative
professionals need an association?
Joining a professional association demonstrates your commitment
to your career. Work is most rewarding when we do it with
enthusiasm and give it our best. Through IAAP you will gain
knowledge, confidence and contacts that will help you advance
professionally. IAAP works to build a professional image of
administrative professionals in the workplace.
|
|
Who can join?
IAAP membership is open to all persons working in secretarial
and office administration positions, along with business
educators, students, firms and educational institutions. There
is no test of sponsorship required. Through IAAP qualified
professionals can test for the certification rating, the
benchmark of excellence in the administrative profession.
